East Hartford Pedestrian Accident
On July 17, 2008 a 52 year old woman was struck by a car while crossing Governor Street. Donna Rainville was listed in critical condition when she arrived at the hospital.
Luz Garcia, the 35 year old driver, was not injured in the accident. She cliams that she did not see Rainville until she stepped into the street. Rainville was not using the crosswalk. She was walking through the eastbound lanes when she was hit.
